Role & Responsibilities

· To manage all their related discipline construction and commissioning activities in the area to ensure that all works  are completed according to applicable procedures, specifications and standards of workmanship ensuring technical integrity, schedule, quality and HSE targets are met in a professional and cost-effective manner.

· Prepare test packs for individual jobs making sure that the job has been done according to Company standards and  regulations and Site is cleaned & reinstated.

· Plan shutdowns with Engineer.

· Review marked-up as built drawings of the completed job before handover to Engineer.

· Earthworks, concrete foundations and structures, structural steelwork, and general builder's work.

· Ensure design packages meet the relevant safety, environmental and ergonomic standards.

· Understand the contract quality management system and ensure these requirements are met.

· Participate in and sometimes lead, discipline design reviews.

· Represent the department in a positive and professional manner.

· Take responsibility for actions and outcomes and persist despite obstacles. be available around the clock in case of emergency. Prepared for the Extended hours to the job. Demonstrate dependability in difficult circumstances and show a sense of urgency about getting results.

· Maintain appropriate documentation and participate in process improvements and quality improvement programs.

· Responsible for overall execution, monitoring and control of the Project as per the contractual requirements, Execution Plan, specifications & PQP.

· Responsible for coordinating all the procurement and subcontracting activities related to the Project along with Project Manager.

· Ensure Quality Management System of the Contractor is effectively implemented in the Project. Advance RFI detail of the work, documentation to be ensured. Assess manpower, equipment and other resources required to achieve targets.

· Analyze deviations, change of Project scope or delays, if required, and reschedule to meet target dates in coordination with Project Manager Ensure appropriate actions are taken on all NCRs and Audit Non-Conformances raised in the Project.

· Identify Training needs and Coordinate with appropriate function for fulfilling the Training Requirements.
